Our guidelines

This policy covers everything you send through Have It Printed and its sister services (SentInstantly, SignItForMe, LabelsByHand, RealtyThankYou, DealershipThankYou, StayThankYou, HospitalityThankYou, Professional Thanks and VoterThanks): letters, documents, postcards, photos, messages, letterheads and lists. By placing an order you agree to it.

1. What you can't send

We don't print or mail content that:

• Threatens, harasses, stalks or intimidates anyone, or is sent to someone who has asked you to stop contacting them.
• Attacks people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or veteran status, including slurs and hate symbols.
• Is sexually explicit, or sexualizes anyone under 18 in any way.
• Shows or promotes graphic violence, self-harm or cruelty to animals.
• Impersonates a person, business, court, government agency or official, or is designed to look like an official notice, bill, check or legal process when it isn't.
• Defrauds or deceives, including scams, fake invoices, phishing and counterfeit documents or currency.
• Breaks the law, including content that violates a court order (such as a restraining order), promotes illegal activity, or violates postal regulations.
• Exposes someone's private information without their consent, such as another person's financial, medical or identity details.
• Infringes someone else's rights, including copyrighted photos, artwork or text, trademarks and other people's likenesses, unless you have permission.

2. Your uploads are your responsibility

When you upload an image or file, or write a message, you confirm that:

• you own it, or you have every right and permission needed to print and mail it;
• anyone identifiable in a photo has agreed to its use, and a parent or guardian has agreed for anyone under 18;
• the content is accurate and lawful, and the recipient's address is one you're entitled to send to.

You are solely responsible for what you send. Have It Printed prints and mails at your direction and does not endorse your content. You agree to cover any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from content you send or from your breach of this policy.

3. How we screen orders

After you pay and before we print, we may check messages and images, automatically and by a person. We may hold, refuse or cancel any order that we believe breaks this policy, with or without explanation. If we cancel an order before it is printed, we refund it. Repeated or serious violations may lead to your account and future orders being refused.

4. Records and the authorities

To provide the service we keep a record of each order: what was ordered, the price, the billing details you gave our payment processor, the recipient's name and address, the date and the tracking or mailing record. Your files themselves are deleted on the schedule in our Privacy Policy.

If our service is used to harass, threaten, defraud or break the law, we will cooperate with law enforcement and respond to valid legal process (such as a subpoena or court order). That may include sharing the order records above. We may also report content we believe involves a threat to someone's safety or the exploitation of a child.

5. Reporting misuse

If you received mail through us that you believe breaks this policy, email contact@haveitprinted.com with the order or tracking number if you have it. We review every report and act on it.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in effect when you placed an order applies to that order.
